The Women Empowerment Cell of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, organised International Women’s Day Celebration” on 08.03.2021 for all the girls students and lady faculty. Ms.Hari Priya of IV Year Civil welcomed the gathering. Dr.S.Krishnapriya, Professor & Head of Civil Engineering and Chairperson of Women Empowerment Cell introduced the Chief guests, Mrs.S.S.Vinothini B.E.,MBA, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam Sub Division and Mrs.Sonal Jain M.A.,(English),B.Ed., Principal , AAA International School,Thiruthangal.  The Chief guest, Mrs.Sonal Jain highlighted the achievements of women and the issues and problems faced by them in our society. She stressed that women are recognised and celebrated for playing various roles in different spheres of life due to their robust spirit. They contribute not only for their family members but also for the country. Cultural Events like Dance and Mime were performed by the students and oratory Skills of many students were also expressed on Women Empowerment. The programme came to an end with Ms.R.Belsiah Darling of III Year B.E., Civil Engineering delivering the vote of thanks.
