Red Hat Academy of AAACET in association with Winways Complete Open Source Pvt. Ltd, Madurai & CSI Students Chapter, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, conducted a Guest Lecture on “Decade of open source and studies in abroad” by Mr.Prince Kumar, Managing Director, EDEX Academy, New Zealand on 15.10.2022 from 2.00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sir Visvesvaraya Hall, Cambridge block for the students of 3rd year and 4th year students. Ms. M. Sai Janani of final Year CSE welcomed the gathering and Ms. M. Rashmika of final Year EEE gave an introduction about the resource person. The resource person shared the history of New Zealand and its educational policy. It served as the eye-opening session for the students. He explained about the job opportunities available in abroad and also the academic opportunities in abroad. Finally, he cleared the queries of our students and got feedback from the students about their ideas. Mr.S.Karthikeyan, Red hat Technical Head, Winways Complete Open Source Pvt. Ltd, Madurai shared various ideas and concepts of Open source. Mr. S. Muhil Pradhanji of final Year CSE delivered the vote of thanks. Finally, the programme was ended with national anthem.
Totally, 100 students attended the program. The programme was well organized by Dr.J.Sutha, HOD/CSE and Faculty Co-ordinators Dr.P.Elamparithi ASP/CSE & Mrs.G.Kavitha AP/CSE.
