The Department of Mechanical Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology organized a Guest Lecture on “Advanced Manufacturing Technolgy” on 24thJanuary 2018at Seminarhall. The guest speaker was Mr. Mr.S.SenthilMurugan, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, MepcoSchlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi.The event started with a welcome address by our student. The guest lecture was preceded by a short talk by the student representative. In his talk he emphasized the importance innovation in various sector.
The lecture started around 02:30 PM and ended around 04:00 PM. The lecture was received with admiration by the students and they also found the slides appropriate.
The session went on by addressing thevarious manufacturing concepts likeintroduction to the manufacturing process & also in this guest lecture the recent trends in material processing, characterization and applications was conveyed to the students. From this guest lectures all the students got the clear idea about the scope of carrier opportunities in manufacturing industries. A very good feedback was given by the students over the guest lecture and suggested to arrange more programs, like this in the future.
