The Women Empowerment Cell and Harassment Prevention Committee of AAA College of Engineering and Technology organised an awareness program on “BREAST CANCER” on 21-08-2024 from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm at Sir Visvesvaraya Seminar Hall for all the girls students and lady faculty members. The programme was organized by Mrs.T.Vinothini, AP/CSE, Mrs.P.Sabeena Burvin,AP/CSE and student Volunteers. The program started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu. Welcome address was given by Ms.J.Samyuktha Bharathi from III CSE. Chief guest introduction was given by Ms.G.Abinaya Sri, III CSE. Mrs.N.Thenmoezhi, AP/ECE honoured the chief guest with shawl and momento. The Chief Guest Dr.V.Gopishri, M.B.B.S.,M.S(General Surgery), D.Lap., Consultant and Managing Director ,MSB Multispeciality Hospital, Thiruthangal delivered the session. She explained us valuable insights about breast cancer. She also stressed the importance of vaccination to minimize the risk of cancer. Many students and lady faculty members interacted and clarified their doubts.
