AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi the commencement ceremony for the first year students for the academic year 2024-2025 was held on Monday 02.09.2024. The event was presided over by Dr. Ganesan, Principal of the college and Mr. Amarnath, Trustee. Dr. Revathy Subbulakshmi, Bar Speaker, was present as the special guest.
First Year Head of Department Dr. Dharmaraja delivered the welcome address. College Principal Dr.M. Sekar in his inaugural address informed the students and parents about the regulations, syllabus and other details of the college. He also introduced all the professors working in the college to the students and parents. Congratulatory message was given by correspondent Dr. Ganesan who said that it is commendable that AAA College has got NBA and NAAC accreditations in 13 years of its establishment. He also said that the information that AAA College has been ranked 21st in the Anna University ranking list shows the hard work of the teachers and students of AAA College. Such a proud AAA college is working with the high aim of providing high quality technical education to all the students and requested the students to make proper use of it and progress in life.
As a part of the function, AAA college students who won first place in volleyball and chess competitions organized by Anna University were felicitated on the stage.
The special guest Mrs. Revathi Subbulakshmi in her keynote speech said: “The college we study is a place where we can determine our future and it is a place where we develop our management and personality. Students should always be happy and take advantage of the opportunity without any fear or hesitation. We have to renew ourselves daily. Everyone should act with the realization that time is like life.
Parents should accustom their children to simple lifestyles. Students should bring out their unique talents. Only teachers are the seeds of our progress and only they are happy in our growth.” The speech by the special guest was meant to inspire students and parents.
At the end of the ceremony, Professor. Tychicus of English department delivered the vote of thanks.
