AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, and “AAACET NSS UNIT”conducted an awareness Program in the title of “Impacts of Plastics” on 22.09.2018 for all students and staffs. Our NSS volunteer Mr. K. Vairam welcomed the chief guest Mrs. R. Geetha, Superintendent, Social Welfare Department, Madurai. Our principal Dr. M. Sekar insisted the students to develop novel methods for recycling of plastics due to its widespread applications. Our chief guest delivered the talk about the root cause of the plastic pollution and methods to eradicate it. She motivated the students not to use the plastics any more.Also she insisted to convey this information to their parents and relatives. Many students and staffs were made aware of the plastic pollution through this program. This program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator Mr. S. Balamurugan, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering.

All arrangements for the programme were made by AAACET Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan., Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan and Joint Secretary Er.K.Vignesh Kumar.
