Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AAA college of Engineering & Technology, Sivakasi organized a three days national level workshop on “IOT using Raspberry Pi” from 7th march 2019 to 9th march 2019. Assistant professors Mr.L.K Balaji Vignesh and Mrs.M.Gayathri coordinated the workshop. More than hundred students from various engineering college were participated in the workshop and enriched their knowledge and skill in IOT. Mr. S.Ponguru, from final year ECE welcomed the dignitaries. In his presidential address, Dr.M.Sekar, Principal explained the importance of workshop and congratulated the students for enrolling in the workshop. Dr.S.Sevugarajan, Head of the department gave the introductory speech about the schedule and features of the Program. Mr.S.Mahendra Varman, from second year ECE addressed the Chief guests. Dr.M.Sekar, Principal honored the Resource persons Mr.Nivin Antony and Vinoth Kumar, Senior Project Engineers from Pantech ProEd Pvt Ltd, Madurai. Hands-on Training on IOT using Raspberry Pi was conducted by resource persons at department computer research laboratory. Certificate was distributed for all the participants by Dr.M.Sekar, Principal AAACET during valedictory section. The function ended with vote of thanks by Ms.R.Gayathri from third year ECE, who expressed his gratitude towards college management, all the dignitaries, participants and all other helping hands, which contributed towards the success of the event.
