In AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized “National Level Technical Symposium – AUGUSTA 2K19” on 05.09.2019. The Chief Guest for the function was Dr. S. Arumuga Perumal, Associate Professor & Head of Department Computer Science and Research, S.T. Hindu College, Nagercoil. The function started with a prayer song. Mr. M. Ruban Sakthi, President – Augusta 2k19, Department of Computer Science and Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr. J. Sutha, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering gave the inaugural address and briefed about the events of symposium to the participants. Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar, Joint Secretary gave the felicitation address to the participants. Joint Secretary briefed the importance of IoT and insist the participants to improving the skills and knowledge of entrepreneurs. Dr.M.Sekar, Principal gave the presidential address to the participants. Principal briefed the current trends and employment opportunities in the field of Internet of Things. Ms. R. Mohana Priya of Final year CSE, introduced the Resource Person to the participants. Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar, Joint Secretary, presented a memento as a token of love and affection to our Resource Person. In the chief guest address, Resource Person presented the various features of Internet of Things and insist the participants to create interest in IoT . More than 130 participants from various engineering colleges actively participated and presented their paper in the symposium.
Various Technical Events like Podium, You Can’t See Me, Fix it, Puzzle Hunt and Non Technical Events like Click it, Make-a-Meme, Design-up, Paper Chase and Game-o-Game were conducted in a grand manner in order to enhance the skills of students.
The programme was well organised by our Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan., Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan., Joint Secretary Dr.K.Vignesh Kumar., Principal Dr.M.Sekar, Dr.J.Sutha, HOD/CSE, Augusta Co-ordinators Mr. P. Elampariti, Ms. M. Jeyanthi and by the Faculty members of CSE. Ms.A.Santhanalakshmi, Secretary – Augusta, delivered the vote of thanks. Finally the programme was ended with national anthem.
