It was a red letter day in the history of India when the country got her freedom on August 15, 1947. As usual the Independence Day was celebrated in a grand manner. Our correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan, Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar and Er. G. Amarnath were the chief guests. Our correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan hoisted our National Flag. Our principal, Dr. M. Sekar welcomed the gathering. Two of our students gave the valuable speech on independence in Tamil & in English. Our correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan emphasizes the importance of independence and the value of hardwork to improve our nation. Our Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar in his speech demanded the need of youngsters’ contribution towards our nation buildings. Our Trustee member Er. G. Amarnath really wondered at the way in his our forefathers strived for our independence and he wandered all Indians to follow our ancestors to maintain our independence for progress.
