aQuest HVAC Quiz preliminary round powered by HITACHI was held at “AAA College of Engineering and Technology Sivakasi, on 19th october 2019 for Madurai zone ISHRAE chapters .
aQuest is a student quiz competition organised by ISHRAE and Powered by HITACHI every year, which is concluded with Grand Finale at ACREX India, South Asia’s largest Exhibition on Refrigeration and Cold Chain, Air-Conditioning, Ventilation and Intelligent Buildings Services. The quiz is primarily designed to introduce engineering students to the HVAC&R industry.
Dr.P.Seenikannan., Professor & Head of Mechanical Engineering Department welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Sekar, Principal gave the felicitation address and insisted the importance of student participation in technical events.
Totally 20 prequalified teams from various engineering colleges of Madurai zone were participated in aQuest HVAC Quiz. The event was conducted by Mr.R.Kishore [National level Member – ISHRAE technical committee and past president of Madurai ISHRAE] & Dr.K.Srithar [Madurai ISHRAE student chair].
The programme was well organised by our Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan., Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan., Joint Secretary Er.K.Vignesh Kumar., and by the Principal Dr.M.Sekar. The ISHRAE faculty advisors Dr.G.Vairamuthu Associate Professor/MECH and Mr.M.Karthikeyan, AP/MECH arranged and coordinate the event in a successful manner.
