The ROTARACT CLUB, YOUTH RED CROSS CLUB and NSS unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasiorganiseda “Voluntary Blood Donation Camp” for all students and staff in association with Government Hospital, Virudhunagar and Primary Health Centre Amathur.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr.M.Sekar, Principal AAACET and Dr.M.Parthasarathy, MBBS, DCP, and Dr.N.Bindhu, MBBS. They emphasised that blood donation is one of the most significant contributions that a person can make towards the society.
They encouraged students to donate Blood as it is not harmful and the body of the donor can regenerate the blood within a few days. More than 100 volunteers came forward to donate blood and 100units of blood were collected by officials. The donors were provided with a certificate.
