The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a seminar titled ‘Cambridge Startup Boot Camp – Transforming Dreamers to Doers’. This session took place on February 09, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Dr. G. Vairamuthu, President of IIC, presided over the event. The session commenced with a welcome address from Ms. S.Selvapriya, a third-year student in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, who introduced the esteemed speaker. Mr. E. Roland Lamuel, Cambridge Course Instructor and Startup Mentor, Managing Director – Rolandlam Startup Consulting Private Limited, Chennai served as the resource person for the session.
Mr. E. Roland Lamuel initiated the session by addressing how to become an entrepreneur. He discussed various details about startup like how to start a Startup and how can use seed capital to invest in research and to develop their business plans. Further, He discussed certification course to learn about entrepreneurship. The session was absolutely motivational and useful event to build a new carrier. His valuable words were highly beneficial for the students to attain their knowledge.
The session concluded with interactive questions and answers, during which participants engaged with the speaker. Expressing gratitude on behalf of the organizers, Ms. G.Anushiya, a third-year student in Computer Science and Engineering, delivered a vote of thanks.
A total of 190 students from various departments participated in the session. The event drew to a close at 11.30 p.m. with the rendition of the national anthem.
