ICTACT Youth Talk’19

For a leader, communication is a connection and inspiration – not just transmission of information. It is often one of the most challenging leadership skills. Communication informs, persuades, guides, and assures, as well as inspires. For this, ICT Academy has been organizing “ICT Academy Youth Talk” since 2014, to evolve leadership among college students in the form of highly effective and inspiring talks.

This year ICT Academy selected preliminarily 120 students from various discipline and from various colleges for Madurai Zone. All the participants registered themselves on 18th September 2019 and they presented their knowledge and skill in an exemplary manner. The juries selected 17 members for the next round in a judicial manner. In the afternoon the selected 17 students contested in a tough manner for their selection. The judges found it difficult to select 10 participants and finally they were announced. It was a glorious moment for AAA College of Engineering and Technology as two of our students got selected for the Zonal finals.

 The Zonal final was held on 21th September 2019.  Mr, Narendra, DGM, T&D Research head, ICT Academy started the session by discussing the rules about the youth talk. The Chief Guest was Mr. Chandrasekar Chenniappan Sr.Director HR, Virtusa, Chennai, Mr. Kanneth Jeyaseelan, Human Resources Generalist TCS Chennai, Mr. N. Lakshminarasimhan General Manager – HRD Brakes India Pvt Ltd Chennai, Mr. M. Ashraffshaik Mohammadnone Manager – HR, Sensiple Software. Our Principal cordially welcomed the gathering. Our Correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan, Our Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh kumar are dignified the occasion. Participants touched the topics from alpha to omega, exploring the space through there inspiring innovative and motivational way. Among 10 participants, the HRs found it difficult to select the top 3 participants. In the afternoon all the HRs addressed the students and they gave various tips to be a successful entrepreneur and to get placement in various reputed companies in their own different style. Finally Mr. Narendra, DGM T&D and Research Head, ICT Academy presented the gratitude address. With the national anthem the function came to an end.

All facilities for the programme were well arranged in a grandeur manner by Chairman Shri. P. Panjurajan, Secretary Dr. P. Karvannan, Correspondent Dr. P. Ganesan, Joint Secretary Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar B.E., MBA (UK), Principal Dr. M. Sekar, M.E.,Ph.D and the AAA Family members.
